I believe that this teacher is trying to give students a wake up call. He want us to know that he cares about our well being. He want us to know that though school may not be fun all the time it is worth it in the long run. It is shaping us into people we will be in the future. We have to stop quitting on ourselves and push ourselves because he won't quit on us.

3 day weekend... how was it? Give me a good story or something funny that happened this weekend. Go.

Over this three day weekend I went to my favorite Mexican bakery/food place with some friends and I ate my favorite meal which is the plato de crane. Then I went to iHop with friends and then we went to after prom. It was alright, while everyone was winning flat-screens and Xboxs I won a cheap ass pair of bracelets so I was pretty pissed. The next day I helped my friend film for her broadcast class. Then on Monday I watched the Royals and then crammed all of my homework into one night and I also started getting into Mad Men.

If images are on the internet they should be "free game".

In some ways I do and agree and in some way I do not agree. Whatever you put on the internet is there forever for everyone to see. Once you post it you can't take it back. At the same time, for business purposes, people should be entitled to their images and have ownership rights because it is their image after all.

If I could actually figure out how to have my css code working then I am sure my website would have been great but it looks like that hasn't happened yet. I also wish I had more knowledge on HTML codes and how to make things look more fancy. I put adaquit information about my skills and what I have accomplished and made everything very organized in different categories. From what I saw from other student's websites they were very creative. They also had a lot of information about themselves and all had appealing websites. Everyone did a nice job.

What's the coolest thing you've learned in Web Design so far? Why is it so cool and how can it help you in the future?

The coolest thing I've learned in web design so far is how to do css codes. It's cool because it makes the website look pretty. It can help me make my website look presentable in the future.

User experience is the overall experience of a person using a product such as a website or computer application, especially in terms of how easy or pleasing it is to use. It shows if a person knows what they are doing or not. It shows if someone knows how to code or work a website.

What is a resume website? What do people put on resume websites. Spend about 5-10 minutes looking up resume websites and what they are used for. Explain what you find. Include an image of a resume website if possible.

A resume website is a site that shows all the cool stuff you have accomplished. People need it for jobs. I found a lot of accomplished people with their lives together. I don't feel like showing an image.

If you were the Principal for a week at BVHS, what would that look like? What changes would you make? Why?

If I was the principal for a week things would be either really chill or not at all chill. I would make everyone have a day off and go home so I wouldn't have to do anything. That or I's make everyone do things for me like buy me foo or they'll fail a class or give me 20 bucks or they'll get a detention. I'd use my power to my advantage.

I am going to to travel to Johnson County. I heard there's a Sonic there so I'm pretty excited! I also heard that they have a Target AND a Walmart! But for real I'm just going to hang out with my friends and go to downtown K.C and watch my friends record their mixtape and yah. Fun.

I don't really look to people in my life or have any role models. I don't believe in the whole concept of role models. I don't want to look up to someone because all the looking up can keep you down. The energy you'll expend focusing on someone else's life is better spent working on your own. I rather be my own idol.

Tell me about your weekend.

This weekend I went to Chicago for a tournament. It was cold af. I did well at the tournament. I got first in sparring but I pulled something near my ribs so it hurt to breathe but it's whatever. Then after that I went to China Town and ate the best food ever. I also bought tea and candy. The next day we flew back home and I did homework and went for a jog. It was nice outside so ya know that was cool. I took a bath and went to bed. Yup.

 This weekend I went to Texas to compete in a tournament. I got third in weapons and first in sparring. So that was cool. On Sunday I flew back and  Khira and I waited for our two friends at popeyes who are idiots and were late so we could not eat at popeyes. After that we drove to see the Lazarus Effect and that was also disappointing. After that we went to panda express and we ate food and it wasn't disappointing. G and Vance left to do whatever they do so Khira and I drove around listening to music and ranting about how bad the movie was and then we went to get drinks at sonic. The end.

This weekend I went to Subway to visit my friend and then me and some other friends went to see a movie. We may or may not have seen Fifty Shades of Grey. I went home after that and binge watched That 70's Show. On Sunday I did all of my homework then went to Popeyes with my friend. We went to subway again to see our friend and then I bought myself flowers and went home and listened to Drake's mixtape.

It would be pretty great if we could learn stuff that we can actually use in the real world. Like oh I don't know maybe how to buy a house or a car or balance a check book. I would actually spend my class time learning because it would actually matter more than logarithms. These classes would be different then the ones I have now because they would actually help me in life.

Color can convey a lot of emotion when it comes to designing anything from a product to a website to an advertisement to a logo and so much more. What do you think the importance of colors on a website are? What is a color scheme and why is it important to have when designing? Explain any thoughts you might have around color in design.


 Colors can set the mood of the website. Plus they make it more interesting to look at because if there was no color then it would be really boring and bland. A color scheme is nice because it is nice and organized and makes the website look presentable. Color and design make website look fun.

It would make me think more about what I am doing. I would not be as stressed about time?? I really don't know. I would make sure my work was more quality rather than quantity. I would get more out of it if we focused more on less. I'm pretty sure that would work for me.

  This weekend I went to a tournament. It was pretty chill. I got second place in sparring. Then me and my friends went to Abuelo's and we ate food. On Sunday I went to my math tutor at Starbucks. Then I went to the mall with a friend. I ate Chipotle, it was good. Then I picked up my other friend from Jose Peppers and we went to eat at Popeyes and then we went to Savers and I bought a windbreaker. Then I went home and watched the Grammy's. The end.

What's the coolest thing you've learned in this class so far this year? Now that you have a little knowledge, what do you want to learn that you don't know how to do yet?

The grooviest thing I have learned in this class is the css. I think it is fun to design my website. I would like to learn how to make cool graphics on my website and how to go more in depth.

  On Friday me and my friend ventured to Savers and we bough some dope stuff. Then we saw our pal at subway and this other guy at subway who was being really salty but that's a different story. Then I went to my Hyper class which was fun. On Saturday I went to a tournament which was really great. I got second in weapons and first in sparring. Then me and some tae kwon do  friends went to the Cracker Barrel. On Sunday I took a nap and then went to a friend's house to watch the super bowl. So this weekend was pretty great.

  My life at BVHS is just a blast. I don't do any clubs because I'm too busy as it is. I am a junior. My favorite class is APUSH because I like it and I'm good at it. I am looking forward to the last day of school.

  Over the weekend I stayed in my room listening to the Weeknd and Drake. I was Draking out. I also did a lot of homework kind of. On Sunday I drank coffee and watched Gene Simmons Family Jewels. Around four I went to pick up my friend and we went to Popeyes because Popeyes is pretty good. Then we went to Dick's sporting goods to look at frisbees because we got plans this summer. Then we went to vintage stock and I bough a workout record and he bought 40 oz to Freedom so we just sat in my car listening to it thinking about life. I dropped him off and went home to my room to Drake out again.

  Kids these days don't know how lucky they are. Back in my day we had to read books to learn not look something up on the inter webs. What is up with twerking?!? You aren't Miley Cyrus so sit down! who even is this Cyrus girl?!? Back in my day we had Marilyn Monroe and Robert Redford. And what is the nae nae!?!? And what is turn up? Turn up what?!? How about you turn down your music so I can get enough sleep to wake up early to go get breakfast at First Watch!

   The hardest part for me is memorizing all of the codes. If I just practice using them more on code academy I could get them down more. I understand mostly everything it's just memorizing them.

    On Friday I went to DQ with some friends. We ate some ice cream....I guess you could say it was chill. On Saturday I went to the mall with my friend and then we visited my other friend at his work at Subway and then we took his mustang and drove around listening to music. On Sunday my other friend and I listened to RTJ2 and we went to Savers and I bough a camo jacket for five dollars and then we went to Vintage Stock so I bought That 70's Show season 4. We visited my friend at subway again so that was cool. On Monday three of my friends and I went to the mall again and then we went to Guitar Center which was cool and then we went to Savers again and then this taco place called Fuzzy's which was a disappointment. That's what I did.

    I like this class a lot. It is informative and fun. I have learned a lot of html codes. I would like to learn more about html codes and building a website. I want to learn this because why else would I take this class.

    This weekend I actually had plans. It was my Mom's birthday so we had a family get together. I chilled with my cousins and we ate food so it was pretty cool. Then my mom and I went to the Cheesecake Factory and ate some food. Then we went to see the movie Big Eyes which was really good. On Sunday I met up with some friends at iHop and ate unhealthy amounts of pancakes. I then spent the remainder of my day in my room eating food, watching movies, and listening to my records. So all I really did was eat food so yah.

Read this small newspaper clipping and then write a blog post about it. What are your thoughts? How does it make you feel? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.


    This newspaper clipping makes me feel a mix of emotions. I somewhat agree with it and somewhat disagree with it. Some teenagers do need to stop complaining and try to do something other than wine in this world. Some of us do need to grow up and grow a backbone. On the other hand, sometimes we already have too much on our plates. We already have the responsibility of going to school everyday and then going home to do homework for hours and hours. Not only that but we have other outside activities like sports or clubs. We have all of this and we are expected to socialize for our own mental health and to get at least eight hours of sleep a night. We are only high school students. Though some of us can, do, and will make a difference, some of us also have the normal responsibility of being a teenager.
